Buoy is a native macOS menu bar app that runs in the background and stops you from getting distracted. It tracks all currently open apps and whenever you open one that's not on your focus list it sends you a push notification.

Tech Stack

Swift is a programming language by Apple, it's the best way to build native macOS applications

buoy only released on macOS so we went with Swift to offer the best experience for macOS users

Next.js is a React framework for building highly dynamic server-side rendered web applications

We used Next.js to build the landing page, we needed SSR and Nextjs is the best way to do that

Sidenote: Microinteractions are underrated
