Viral Twitter Platform

The Sent Project

The Sent Project is a viral twitter page (a page that aims to be shared by twitter users). It had many spin-offs like profile analyzers and quizzes but the main product that got the most users and attention was our anonymous message board. Think NGL or Tellonym but in public.

Viral on multiple platforms

Our unique web-based and public concept was built so it would cater to streamers as well as X users. It blew up on both TikTok on X and got to a peak of 230k users per week. In this time our clients earned significant ad revenue.

Tech Stack

Next.js is a React framework for building highly dynamic server-side rendered web applications

We used Next.js for the dashboard and SSR for public pages to ensure fast loading and good SEO

Supabase is an open source database and backend as a service, it's a great choice for any fullstack application

Supabase provides our database and authentication system for user management

Umami is an open source GDPR compliant analytics platform

We use Umami for simple analytics on static pages to track user engagement

Upstash is a blazing fast redis based cache and queue service

Upstash handles rate limiting for non-signed-in users to prevent abuse

Figma is a design tool that allows live collaboration and easy design iterations

Figma was used for all design work and wireframing throughout the project

Send and receive 100% anonymous messages, everyone can see them

We offer users a home page experience (everyone can post to this message board) and public profiles pages for our users. Messages sent to someones profile are still public for everyone, the recipient can choose to reply or not.
